Antonio's throat is still hurting him, so we visited the pediatrician today.
His, SpongeBob PediatricianPants, didn't have any openings, but Julia's did.

Of course, any event at the Naval Hospital isn't a small one, so after visiting her, and getting his throat swabbed. She asked that I hold the back of his head with one hand and put my other hand over his, I let her know he'd be cool, he's uncannily compliant with doctors. He was true to form, not even a twitch, she was impressed.
Then we had to go down to the lab to drop it off the goods.

Back up to the waiting room for a while & the results came back positive for strep. Then we had to go down to the pharmacy to pick up his shot antibiotics, why she didn't have them on hand, I dunno.

So, wait down there, the whole time he is just dreading getting a shot. He's worried about how much it will hurt, "less than the Chickenpox one? More? Ohhhhhh I don't want a shot!"
On our way back up to peds., he tried to convince me to throw it away and get outta there.

We're greeted by a corpsman who will be giving the shot, and Antonio is starting to panic. So I ask him, "Hey, do you want to get a tattoo when you're older?" he's nods excitedly, "Just think of this as practice for getting that tattoo."
A little bit braver, we go in the room.
Let me just say, I think he'll be re-thinking the tattoo business.
Poor guy, that shot just did him in.

After much limping out of the hospital, and very very carefully getting into the car, we stopped by Starbucks on the way home for green tea frappuccinos.
This helped a little, along with a healthy dose of cartoons.
