He made it.
He wasn't supposed to be in until late late last night, but by some amazing luck, he got on all the standby flights he tried for and was home about three hours before he was originally scheduled to be.

It seemed like he was the last person on the plane to get off. While people were walking off the plane, we seriously could have just hung out, had some coffee and napped, and then still waited forever.
But it was so worth it.
