Spring is starting to show it's face around here. A little more sun than usual and the days are starting to noticeably get longer.
When we got home, Antonio helped me carry in a few groceries then dashed outside to play with the boys.
Julia had a snack while I cleaned the fridge & put groceries away. This kid can eat! She had Peanut butter on toast, a whole banana, those Gerber banana puff things, soy milk and I'm sure she had something else, but I can't remember right now.
Then dinner about a fourty five minutes later.
Damn.
If she didn't run everywhere all day long I'd be concerned, but I guess she needs the fuel.
Antonio was stoked that we had Breakfast For Dinner.
We had waffles, scrambled eggs and soy sausage.
Reality was, it's been a long week & I'd been saving that meal idea for a cop out dinner.
He's been doing better and better about doing his journal every night. It's a nice time to hang and talk about his day.
Then, since he's been so great this week, and because they don't have the list of what's on the isles yet at the commissary (remodeling) and I had to go down every effing isle, he got ice cream with Magic Shell on it. He thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Tomorrow is his 100th day of school, so he has to bring in 100 of something.
He's been wanting to bring soda, but I told him that would be kinda heavy to bring in. We joked about bringing in 100 kittens. Now, that would be a memorable 100th day of school. Then we decided chocolate chips would work okay. He counted out the 103 and ate the extra.
Both ones in bed by 7. They both had cuddle and story time and asleep by 7:30.
Nice...
